.....And SHE'S perfect! Yes, friends! It's a girl and we are very excited for Abby to have a "Baby Stister"! What a blessing at this time in our lives! This is the best shot we got of her!
The ultrasound was short, but sweet, and she slept the entire time! (Unlike Abby, who moved around like crazy at all of her 4 ultrasounds!) She's about 10 oz right now and everything measures as it should and all parts are accounted for! We are very excited! I must admit I felt a teensy bit of disappointment that it wasn't a boy, but as soon as I knew it was a girl, I quickly felt very close to her! I guess it just got real all of a sudden! It's so amazing that she can be so tiny, but we can see every part of her sweet little body!
What a great day we have had! Life is good!
So pretty soon, I'll be pulling out the teeny baby girl clothes from the attic and getting to work on sewing curtains and bedding for a VERY GIRLY room! It'll be fun...

YEAH BABIES!
Congrats! Little sisters rock!
AAAHHH!! You need to have the girls for my boys!!! Having three of the same sex myself..this is what I do know-You will LOVE having the same sex close together as siblings--there is just something so sweet and kindered about it...ecspecially with girls. The second thing is that is makes buying clothes that much easier (IF they hit the same seasons) have a diaper/wipes shower and you will not have to buy any for MONTHS!!! Third it makes you keep an extra room around that much longer as they can certainly share! So what names do you like...is ALicia in the running yet?
I think she is beautiful!! How happy I am to have another granddaughter. She is evening it out, with 5 girls and 5 boys.
I am published as Aunt Janie, but of course....it is Nana.
Hi Erin,
I am so happy for you. Another little angel to love.
Tina from the bookstore
yea!!! congrats. there is something to be said about little sisters, as i am 4th and have two little sisters.
So I was taking a serious walk down memory lane when I pulled out those pictures!! you were there for it ALL--I remember walking in the room telling you I think that I like him and you just giggled and said, "uh-oh" you knew all along. I should have listenend more. I DO remember you meeting, getting engaged, and married before me and thinking...maybe it is suppose to be that easy? Not my personality, I guess I have to be HIT over the head and take leaps of faith. You have always enjoyed the rides!! Don;t you just love where we have ended up?! Come closer to me--I miss my roomie/comp!
New babies are so fun! And little girls are so much cuter to dress! I had no idea you could sew...the thing you learn.
